Individual Counselling

One-on-one sessions available virtually and in-person in North Vancouver

Our practice might be the fit if you are seeking support with

Body Liberation

You are not alone in experiencing the ongoing impacts of systems (anti-fatness, racism) that demand we contort and contain ourselves.

I am here to hold a gentle space to explore your own conversation with those messages that leave us feeling solely responsible and alone.

Workplace Burnout

Hey, I’ve been there - if you just work a bit hard, longer and faster you’ll get ahead. Have you ever heard - “we do this because we love it”? Sure, enjoying your work may be an important factor to you, but work won’t love you back.

Grief and Trauma

Grief isn’t just the 5 stages. There are many different ways to understand how we interact with loss and trauma.

My goal is to create a space with you that makes it possible to explore, mourn, access feelings, and trust your coping strategies.

Disordered Eating Recovery

I am deeply committed to supporting a recovery journey that is grounded in liberation frameworks.

This includes exploring the relational trauma and systemic harm that comes from living in a world built on privileging some bodies at the expense of others.

There are many things that help you survive. Let’s collaborate to thrive.

The foundation of all my therapeutic work with individual counselling clients is collaborative.

We’ll spend time together to figure out a path that feels comfortable for you, and connected to your vision for your life.

We’ll check in on a regular basis about how things are going, how the space between us is feeling, and what needs to shift or change.

We’ll make a plan together. You are the expert on your own life and experiences. I am here to provide support and feedback, but you will always get to choose. You can always say no, tell me what isn’t working for you, and I will always receive that with openness. You can always choose what works for you. I’ll introduce ideas that I think might be useful, but they are always only an invitation.

Collaborative support also means that we take the time to understand your context and how you view “the problem” and take a different perspective to examine it.

✨ Most importantly, I want you to feel welcomed and cared for in the spaces I hold. I hope for you to feel a deep sense of connection and build trust in the space we create together.

You also might feel challenged, in a good way. Therapy involves curiosity and at times moments of tender confrontation from which you can grow and change in the ways you desire.
